We are pleased to present to you two brand new system ankle joints: the NEURO CLASSIC-SPRING and the NEURO VARIO-SPRING 2. As of 3 November, the two new system joints are available.
About the Neuro Classic-Spring
dorsiflexion stop: static and adjustable by filing
plantar flexion stop: none (with dorsiflexion assist)
pressure springs: exceptionally long lifespan due to redesign
conversion: into modular system ankle joints with plug + go modularity by filing the system stirrup and exchanging the functional unit
In comparison to the well-proven NEURO SPRING system ankle joint, the NEURO CLASSIC-SPRING system ankle joint offers the following advantages:
convertible into a system joint with plug + go modularity
exceptionally long lifespan due to redesign of the pressure springs
improved integration into the laminate with the joint lamination/prepreg technique
available in five system widths
The NEURO CLASSIC-SPRING system ankle joint can be converted into a plug + go system ankle joint (such as NEURO SWING) by exchanging the functional unit and filing the system stirrup.
About the Neuro Vario-Classic 2
dorsiflexion stop: - static and adjustable - adjusting screw unit in dorsiflexion for fine adjusting the range of motion (10° max.) - integrated noise reduction
plantar flexion stop: none (with dorsiflexion assist)
pressure springs: exceptionally long lifespan due to redesign
conversion: into modular system ankle joints with plug + go modularity
In comparison to the well-proven NEURO VARIO-SPRING system ankle joint, the NEURO VARIO-SPRING 2 system ankle joint offers the following advantages:
plug + go modularity
integrated noise reduction
exceptionally long lifespan due to redesign of the pressure springs
improved integration into the laminate with the joint lamination/prepreg technique
available in five system widths
The NEURO VARIO-SPRING 2 completes our product range of system ankle joints with plug + go modularity. This means that it can be converted easily and quickly into any other modular system ankle joint with plug + go modularity.
Thanks to the identically constructed system stirrups, joint’s upper parts and assembly/lamination dummies, all it takes to convert the system joint is exchanging the joint-specific functional unit. Learn more about this in our online tutorial Modularity of System Ankle Joints.
